Ski season 2010-2011

If there’s one word to describe the 2010-2011 ski season in Colorado, it is EPIC. Record snow throughout the season resulted in too many powder days to count. Earliest ever openings for most lifts and terrain. By the end, it was hard to get motivated to go skiing unless there was 6 inches of new snow on the ground.

It’s winters like these that make it worthwhile to live in a ski town.

  1. It’s been the exact opposite here in Oregon – we celebrate when most of the rocks are covered and it’s at least not raining. Thanks for sharing the photos, glad y’all have had such a great year.

    1. Sorry to hear that. We were paying for last season’s bounty with terrible conditions this winter. Worst conditions in 40 years. But thankfully things turned around in February with some decent storms and now we’re pretty much back to normal.
